How to Bind Google Authenticator for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

To protect your account security, we support using Google Authenticator for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Below are the detailed binding steps to help you enable Google Authenticator in your account.

1. Download and Install Google Authenticator

First, make sure you have installed the Google Authenticator app on your phone. You can download it from the following locations:

Open your browser on your computer or mobile device and log in to your account.

3. Add Singdata Account Dynamic Password

After logging in successfully, click "Add Dynamic Password" or the "+" symbol at the bottom right corner to add an account.

You can choose the "Scan QR Code" method to scan the QR code generated on Singdata Lakehouse to complete the account addition;

You can also use the "Enter Setup Key" method to manually enter the key, select "Key Type" as "Time-based," and click "Add" to complete the dynamic password addition.

4. Complete Verification

After successfully adding the account, you will see the newly added account and the corresponding 6-digit verification code on the homepage of the Google Authenticator app. Please enter the verification code in the verification code input box below the binding window within the validity period and click "Submit Verification." Once the verification is successful, the binding operation is complete.

5. Reset Binding

You can reset your bound Google Authenticator in the login verification popup or the "Account Information" window after logging in. When resetting the binding, you need to verify the phone number of your current user. After successful verification, repeat steps 3 and 4 above to complete the re-binding.
